Fiery red and orange rocks that look straight out of a painting will be your backdrop while the wildlife may photobomb your pictures. Located about an hour and fifteen minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Valley of Fire is a sight to behold. If you want sheer natural beauty to accompany you in photos, Valley of Fire may be the right place. If you choose to have your photos taken here, you’re truly in for an adventure!Ĭlick here if you’re interested in finding out more info about having your photos taken at the Nelson’s Ghost Town! Not only is the surrounding desert gorgeous, but the owners of the Techetticup mine have amassed quite the unique collection of vintage cars and airplanes (yes, you read that correctly, they have vintage airplanes to pose next to!), and their collection sprawls between rustic barns and buildings. The official name is Techetticup Mine, located in El Dorado Canyon the Ghost Town is surrounded by hills that are sprinkled with Cholla cacti pretty much everywhere you look. One of my favorite locations that Las Vegas has to offer, the Ghost Town in Nelson is seriously a historic gem. Contact me for more info if you’re interested in having your photo session at the Neon Museum! The museum has pricing for photo sessions beginning at $250.

The Neon Museum has three separate galleries to choose from, and offer photo sessions by the half or full hour. Here is a great article regarding the Neon Museum, and all the info you might need to decide if this is the right photo location for you! Not only are you getting some of the most recognizable backgrounds for your photos, but you’re also getting the whole place to yourselves, which is totally awesome. The museum staff closes their entire museum when couples choose to have their photos taken on property, and that makes for an intimate and fun experience. Want your “Extremely Vegas” fix without having to brave the Strip? The Neon Museum (aka the Neon Boneyard) might be for you! Not only is it one of the most iconic locations in Vegas, housing some of the most famous neon signs from hotels and casinos of yesteryear, but the experience of having your photos taken there is amazing! So sit back and relax and take a look at some of my favorite places for taking wedding pictures in Las Vegas sans the Strip! The Neon Museum Luckily, Las Vegas is about as eclectic as a city can get, and it has SO MUCH to offer in the way of photography locations and venues. We would like to go back when we weren't pulling an RV but we loved the drive and the beautiful red rocks especially during the first part of the loop.If you’re not familiar with Las Vegas, you may be thinking of cheesy wedding chapels where people get married via Elvis and a drive-thru, or maybe you think the Vegas Strip is the only location that offers unique wedding photos. Lots of hikers and also world renowned venue for rock climbers. Bathrooms are at some stops but not all no water anywhere on the loop. This is in the Mojave dessert so take plenty of water. You only need a timed entry from October 1-May 31. You have to make a timed reservations through. If you drive slowly it is no problem plenty of room for people to go around you. Speed limit is no more than 35 miles an hour. There are a few switch backs but if you drive slowly it is not a problem.

There is NO places big enough for you to park. The 13 mile loop was very doable for driving an RV/trailer not good if you want to stop and hike at places. We were pulling a 27 foot 5th wheel and were not planning on unhooking because of our schedule. The Conservatory is about 25 miles north of Las Vegas.
